Calling all avid readers of the Summit Books chick lit imprint: The next stop of the RomanceClass Kilig Cafe Tambay Tour is Coffee Cats, Tomas Morato corner Scout Gandia, Quezon City, 1 to 4 PM on August 1.

At a Kilig Cafe Tambay, romance authors and readers are invited to write (or read) together, enjoy coffee and snacks prepared by the host cafe, and chat about writing and books before the end of the session.

On August 1, the panel “From Summit Books chick lit to women’s fiction, romance, YA and more” brings together women who inspired a generation of readers and writers: Claire Betita de Guzman (No Boyfriend Since Birth), Ines Bautista-Yao (One Crazy Summer), Chinggay Labrador (Popped!), and Aurora M. Suarez (Summit Books publisher). The discussion will be moderated by Mina V. Esguerra, RomanceClass founder, whose first novella (My Imaginary Ex) was published by Summit Books.

What was it like for them, when their Summit Books were released? How different is the landscape of publishing now, for their stories? What are they working on now?

This session is open to all writers and readers. A purchase from the cafe menu serves as the event fee.
