Carla de Guzman’s Blooming Love acquired by Vibal (Philippine print edition)

For fans of Practical Magic and cozy witchy romances: Carla de Guzman’s new-adult cozy magical romance Blooming Love has been acquired by Kristine Mandigma and Gelo Lopez at Vibal Publishing for print distribution in the Philippines.

Set in Batangas, Blooming Love is a light fantasy about Ana, who comes from a family with a magical connection to plants, and now lives in their ancestral home Esquina because it called to her in a dream. But this magic is not quite done with her yet, because it also brings guy-from-her-past Sebastian right to her door, and the little mysteries of Esquina begin unraveling around the same time. Coincidence or fate?

Scheduled for release in 2025, Blooming Love is part of Vibal’s new-adult imprint. Mina V. Esguerra is the imprint’s editor-at-large.
